Students do better when schools and families work together. In conjunction with our teacher training we offer parenting workshops so that teachers and student’s families have a shared language, understanding and approach to supporting young people.
A lot is being asked of educational staff. Though they seem to possess heroic characteristics, we know they are human. Many are experiencing vicarious trauma, requiring the same supportive, inclusive, encouraging conditions to thrive, that students need.
